1985 All-Star Game Michael Jordan vs. Isiah Thomas Continues

Back in the 1980s, Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls and Isiah Thomas of the Detroit Pistons didn’t like each other.
In a story posted by Inquisitr, Michael Jordan mentioned to them the story of his relationship with Thomas.Jordan claims the story begins with the 1985 NBA All-Star Game.
“If you go back and watch the movie, you’ll see that Isaiah actually did that,” Jordan said in the article.”Once he started freezing me, that’s when bad feelings started to develop between us.”
This may be an interpretation of the statistical table.Jordan scored 7 points on 2-of-9 shooting. His nine shots were the fewest of any starter, five fewer than Thomas.
Thomas dismissed Jordan’s claims on Twitter, saying: “Stop lying, this story is neither true nor accurate, be honest, man.”
Stop lying, this story is neither true nor accurate, tell the truth.Dr. J, Moses Malone, Larry Bird, Sidney Moncrief and I don’t scare you.If I remember correctly, I was injured most of the second half and Bird had a broken nose.Magic and Sampson dominated the game.https://t.co/B000xZ2VGO
The “bad boy” point guard’s reaction just proved that there is a rich, eternal rivalry between the two.
The relationship’s notoriety caught on in Jordan’s ESPN documentary “The Last Dance,” in which Jordan and Thomas debated Thomas’ inability to join the gold-winning 1992 Olympic “dream team.”
Maybe Jordan’s memories are real, or maybe he dragged his feet in a dunk contest that same All-Star weekend loss to Dominic Wilkins.
Either way, the rivalry will be richer and more interesting even after either of the two has played for years.
