On Wednesday, the City of Cape Coral will provide two first-aid posts and two additional resource distribution points.
Sanitary stations will allow residents to shower, use toilets and cool off. The first is Jim Jeffers Park at 2817 SW 3rd Lane. The second is the Cape Coral Institute of Technology at 360 Santa Barbara Ave. N.
Cape Coral said two clinics are open daily from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Be sure to bring your own shower supplies as toiletries and towels are not provided.
Two more food and water distribution points will also open in the city on Wednesday. They will be at 1020 Culture Park Boulevard. 1800 NW 28th Ave is across the street from City Hall and Coral Oaks Golf Course.
The Cape Coral Sports Center at 1410 Sports Boulevard will continue to operate. and 4820 Leonard Street.
Cape Coral distribution points are open daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for residents in need of food and water.
Free laundry service is available from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at New Hope Baptist Church, Cape Coral, 431 Nicholas Pkwy E.
